Battlefields Trust East Midlands Region and Friends of the National Civil War Centre 4th Annual Conference - Civil War in England 1644 Part I

The Battlefields Trust East Midlands Region and the Friends of the National Civil War Centre are pleased to announce their 4th annual conference looking at events during the Civil War in England in the first half of 1644.  Topics to be covered include

The North East: the Scots to the Siege of York – Jack Abernethy

The South: Alton, Arundel and the Battle of Cheriton – Julian Humphrys

The North West: Thomas Fairfax including the Nantwich Campaign  – Dr Ian Atherton

The Midlands: 2nd Siege of Newark, the taking of Lincoln and the Battle of Cropredy Bridge – Kevin Winter/ Anthony Rich

King Lynn Under Siege update – David Flintham

The conference runs from 10:00am to 4:40pm at the National Civil War Centre , Newark

Tickets for members of the Battlefields Trust or the Friends of the National Civil War Centre cost £30 including teas and coffees and lunch and can be booked via  Eventbrite (members) 

Tickets for those who are not members of the Battlefields Trust or the National Civil War Centre cost £45 including teas and coffees and lunch and can also be booked via Eventbrite (non-members)
