Safeguarding policy
The Battlefields Trust is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all those
who engage with our work, whether through guided walks, educational visits, events, or
online platforms.
This policy at link below sets out how the Trust ensures a safe and respectful environment for
everyone and describes the procedures for preventing and responding to safeguarding
concerns.
This policy applies to anyone working for or on behalf of the Trust, including our trustees
and other volunteers. Partner organisations will be required to have their own
safeguarding procedures that must, as a minimum, include any legal or regulatory
requirements specific to their work.
The Trust recognises the particular vulnerability of children and adults at risk. This policy
sets out how these groups are given further protections.
