Battle of Lewes 1264

As part of Lewes's Heritage Open Days John Freeman, Sussex coordinator of the Battlefields Trust, will be leading a free of charge walk on the site of the Battle of Lewes.
The walk will last two-and-a-half hours and will take in the battlefield trail which has information boards with QR-codes (accessed by mobile phone) with John adding additional information on the battle. The QR codes link to five-minute videos explaining different aspects of the battle with local actor Mark Williams setting the scene on each video.
Meet at the County Hall west car park (BN71UE) at 11.00 am.
This free event has ben organised as part of Lewes's Heritage Open Days Programme. Places need to be reserved via the Friends of Lewes (see below) Booking will open in August
