Battle of Waterloo 1815 at Belsay Hall

Join John Sadler for an exploration of the battle of Waterloo using Belsay Hall drive and its environs, which uncannily match the actual terrain of the battle of Waterloo on a smaller scale. The walk covers 1 ½ miles on flat, metalled road (private estate access, generally devoid of traffic).
The visit will include discussion of Napoleonic uniforms, kit and live firing Brown Bess & Baker Rifle, together with some rattling of sabres.
