Battlefields Trust Online Lecture: Joan of Arc

Tuesday 18th June 2024

Anne's work on Joan of Arc led to her inclusion as a hologram in the Historial de Jeanne d'Arc at Rouen where she can be asked a number of questions about the Anglo-French war. You can do the same tonight in response to her talk on the military role and legacy of Joan.

Anne Curry is Emeritus Professor of Medieval History at the University of Southampton and Chair of the Battlefields Trust. She has published extensively on the Hundred Years War and on English armies (see: http://www.medievalsoldier.org). Anne is a past Master of the Worshipful Company of Fletchers and the first female freeman of the Worshipful Company of Bowyers since 1813. She is also the first female herald in England, as Arundel Herald Extraordinary.
