The Wars of the Roses Memorial Database is a crowd-sourced digital repository of memorials that commemorate the events of and participants in the Wars of the Roses. From battlefields to burials, memorial churches to commemorative plaques, the database is a valuable resource available to everyone – from historians and academics to battlefield enthusiasts and the historically curious.

Held at Delepré Abbey, site of the battle of Northampton on 10 July 1460, when Yorkist forces led by Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick, defeated the Lancastrians and captured King Henry VI.

We’ll be showcasing the database – 150 entries so far and growing – and demonstrating its use and growth potential
