Cheriton battlefield looking east for the parliamentarian lines

Join the Wessex Region for a morning walk led by John Dixon around the battlefield of Cheriton.

Meet at 10.30am at the War Memorial (junction of School Road and the B3046 - SO24 0PX) in Cheriton village near New Alresford, Hants. Parking is in village at the War Memorial. The Flower Pots pub nearby is a good venue for lunch for anyone interested in refreshment after the walk. The walk will last about 2 hours. Stout footwear is recommended.
