Battle of Edgcote 1469

Graham Evans, chair of the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society and expert on the battle, will lead the Society's annual walk of this lesser know but important Wars of the Roses battle.

Meet 2pm at The Griffin Inn, Culworth Rd, Chipping Warden, Banbury OX17 1LB.

This walk takes place on permitted footpaths across working farmland covering around five miles and will last a minimum of three hours. The ground will be uneven at times and includes hilly sections. You must wear suitable footwear. It is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are able to complete the walk without assistance from the organisers.

Non members of the Battlefields Trust or Northamptonshire Battlefields Society will be asked to make a donation to the Society.
