Battle of Evesham Festival

1st-3rd August 2025

Described by one chronicler as 'the murder of Evesham', the battle was fought on 4 August 1265. Rebel leader Simon de Montfort was killed and his army defeated by a royal force on the hill north of the town,

In this 760th anniversary year the Battle of Evesham Festival is being held over the weekend of 1-3 August 2025 and includes a range of re-enactment events, displays. and talks.

The festival is free to attend (£2 donation per person to keep the festival running is suggested). 

A Park and Ride/Stride - with over 800 spaces (including Blue Badge Holders) is located just 15 minutes walk from the festival site or 10 minutes by free coach shuttle at Evesham United Football Club, Cheltenham Road, Evesham WR11 2LZ. Parking is £10 per vehicle all day. All monies raised go to help run the festival.
