Walk - 110th anniversary of the airship raid on London 8-9 September 1915

Sunday 7th September 2025

This airship raid was the first to successfully bomb central London, killing twenty-two people and did the most financial damage of any single airship bomb dropping over Great Britain.

The approximately three miles walk will commence at 10.30 a.m. outside Russell Square Piccadilly Line Underground Station and end at approximately 4.30 p.m. at Liverpool Street Railway/Underground Stations, inclusive of a mid-walk refreshment break.
