The worksheets and interactive whiteboard MS Powerpoint presentation below have been designed by teachers in the London Borough of Hounslow for Key Stage 2 children undertaking the local history element of the national curriculum. With modification these resources could be used at Key Stage 3.
Two of the worksheets are specific to the battles of Brentford and Turnham Green. The remaining three worksheets, on the Civil War Timeline, Soldiers and a Requisition, are generic to the period. All five worksheet can be linked across the curriculum.
The pdf versions of the worksheets are designed to be A3 in size, but will print to A4. The MS Word versions run over two A4 pages and are designed to be editable for teachers who wish to modify them.
