English Heritage on the threat to Northampton Battlefield

English Heritage urges Northampton Borough Council to undertake thorough studies and consultation before making any decisions or taking any steps that could threaten the Wars of the Roses battlefield of Northampton and declares that its primary concern is to ensure that the battlefield, a precious heritage asset for Northampton and the nation, is not needlessly, thoughtlessly and irrevocably harmed.
