Memorial Notes:
The memorial and the life of Thomas Colt is discussed in Clark (ed.), The House of Commons, 1422-1461, iii. 964-72. Appears to have been with the Duke of York at Ludford Bridge (1459). He was probably with Duke Richard when the latter was captured near Wakefield in December 1460. Colt, who was wounded at Wakefield, served as the administrator of the duke's will.
