Memorial Notes:
Vaughan was accompanying King Edward V to his coronation when he was arrested on the orders of Richard, Duke of Gloucester (later King Richard III) as part of Gloucester's effort to usurp the throne. Vaughan was executed for treason at Pontefract Castle in June 1483.
