The plaque is situated on the side wall of the building, which is, as of 2025, Middleton's Steakhouse & Grill. When the plaque was sited there in 1990 it was the National Westminster Bank, before which it was Pares bank. Whilst the address is 2 St. Martin's Leicester LE1 5DB, the building is on a corner and the plaque is located on the Grey Friars wall. The building that the plaque is on is grade 2 * listed and the plaque now forms part of that listing.
