Memorial Notes:
Stanley fought for the Yorkists at the battles of Blore Heath (1459), Towton (1461) and Tewksbury (1470). At the battle of Bosworth (1485) he famously switched sides. Stanley was executed in 1495 for his support for the pretender to the thrown Perkin Warbeck
