Civil War Newark and the battle of Newark 1644

Join Kevin Winter, chair of Battlefelds Trust's East Midland Region, on a walk around Civil War Newark and the battle of Newark in March 1644, which saw the King's nephew, Prince Rupert, relieve a parliamentarian siege. 

Meet at 11:00am by the bandstand in Newark Castle Gardens, Castle Gate, Newark NG24 1BG.
