Battle of Rowton Heath 1645

Sunday 21st September 2025

A guided walk of part of the Rowton Heath battlefield to mark its 380th Anniversary. The reason for the battle and its key aspects will be explained during a walk through attractive countryside that is close to the City of Chester.

The walk includes uneven ground. Meet at  11:00 at Eggbridge Lane car park, Eggbridge Lane, Waverton, Chester, CH3 7QT.
