Battle of Tewkesbury (1471)

Sunday 4th May 2025

This is Tewkesbury Battlefield Society's 2025 Anniversary Walk. The Society will transport you to the site of the Yorkist overnight camp at Tredington and walk back along the line of their advance to the battlefield. The Society will pause for refreshment at the Gupshill Manor Inn, before walking back through the Lancastrian lines and back to the Abbey.

The walk starts at 9:00am at the short stay car park in Gander Lane (GL20 5PG). Meet on the steps of the red brick “Abbey Lawn gate” midway along of the car park wall.

The cost for the walk is £15 which will include transport from Tewkesbury to Tredington and refreshments.
