Battle of Boroughbridge 1322

Join Louise Whittaker from the Yorkshire Region of the Trust for an anniversary walk on the battle of Boroughbridge, where rebel forces of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster faced a royal army fighting on behalf of his cousin, King Edward II.

Meet at 10:30am at Boroughbridge River Parking YO51 9BP, the small riverside car park accessed off the roundabout. The main car park in Boroughbridge is Back Lane Car Park ,YO51 9AT, which has toilet facilities.

Walk 2 miles for 90 minutes approximately. While the route is partly through the town it also includes uneven, and possibly muddy, ground for part of the way.
