Battle of Roundway Down 1643

Sunday 9th July 2023

Join the Wessex Region for a morning walk led by Chris Gravestock around the battlefield of Roundway Down where royalist cavalry decisively defeated a parliamentarian army and rescued a beleaguered force in Devizes, opening-up the West for the King.
