Edgcote battlefield

Battle of Edgcote 1469

Saturday 24th July 2021

This Northamptonshire Battlefields Society led walk across this important Wars of the Roses battlefield of Edgcote will depart from outside the Griffin Inn, Chipping Warden at 2pm.  The walk is free to Battlefields Trust and Northamptonshire Battlefields Society (NBS) members, a £5 donation to NBS should be made by non-members. Remember to bring your membership card.

The walk will take around 3 hours and is just over 6 miles in total. It will be mainly across farmland on public bridleways, so is unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs and anyone who has difficulty walking. There are some hills.

Due to uncertainty about Covid regulations NBS ask that you email them to book a place on the walk via Eventbrite using the link below.
