Carham 1018: The Battle that Defined the Border - One Day Conference

A one day conference being held on Saturday March 28th between 10.30 - 4.00 at Cornhill on Tweed Village Hall (TD12 4UA)

Presentations from:

Bernicia Studies Group will report on the geophysics survey of the Carham ecclesiastic site.

Wirral Archaeology   will present some of their remarkable 10th century finds, and their recent investigations into the elusive Battle of Brunanburh fought in 937

Carham 1018 Society and Battlefields Trust will give the final report, and answer questions on the Carham Millennial Project

A light buffet lunch will be provided.  This is a free event, but to assist with catering please let us know by Tuesday  24th March  if you wish to attend.
