Battlefields Trust on threat to Northampton battlefield

The Battlefields Trust opposes the proposal to dispose of land on the Registered Battlefield of Northampton for sports purposes and calls on Northampton Borough Council to undertake a detailed survey of the whole battlefield in advance of any decision relating to possible disposal of land and development on the battlefield.
