Stow on the Wold 1646

Friday 23rd March 2012

Many of the men and women portrayed in the paintings in Stow-on-the-Wold's St Edward's Hall played key roles in Britain's Civil War. On Friday 23rd March at 7.30 pm in Edward’s Hall upper room, Julian Humphrys will talk about the dramatic lives of the some the characters portrayed there.
Martin Fiennes will also tell us about his family home, Broughton Castle near Banbury,  which was a centre of Parliamentary opposition and was besieged during the Civil War.

Admission will be £5 on the night, or in advance from GO STOW or from tim.c.norris@gmail.com
