Exhibition - Bodies of Evidence

Saturday 29th June - Monday 30th September 2019

Visit the Dunbar Town House Museum (EH42 1ER) open from 1.00 p.m.–5.00 p.m. daily, to discover the story of the Scottish soldiers taken prisoner at the battle of Dunbar in 1650 and their tragic internment at Durham. Find out how archaeologists pieced together the evidence after bones were discovered during construction works at Durham University, and thanks to cutting-edge reconstruction techniques, come face-to-face with a veteran of 1650.
