Battle of Northampton 1460

Joint event with the Northampton Battlefield Society. The battle of Northampton took place on 10 July 1460. It marked the return of the Calais Lords after Ludford Bridge, and resulted in the capture of King Henry VI and the deaths of many Lancastrian lords. It also sparked a campaign that ended in the battle of Towton 1461. Meet at the Northampton Battlefield Society stand by Delapre Abbey at 4:15pm.
