Battle of Bosworth 1485

Saturday 30th April 2016

Author and historian Mike Ingram will be leading a walk over one of the most important battlefields in England, and one whose location wasn't fully understood until a project supported by the Battlefields Trust in 2009. Visit the site where the Tudor dynasty was founded and Richard III famously lost his horse, his crown and his life. Meet at the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, (CV13 0AD) at 11.00 a.m. outside the visitor centre for introduction talk then at 1:00 p.m. at the memorial on Ambion Hill (under flags) for the start of the tour.
