Battle of Edgehill 1642

Saturday 17th October 2015

Join Simon Marsh for a walk of Edgehill battlefield, where the first major battle of the Civil War was fought.  Simon will explain about the archaeological survey the Battlefields Trust ran at Edgehill 2004-2006, what it told us about the battle and some of the new theories that have emerged since..

Meet at St Peter's Church Radway (CV35 0UE) at 2pm.

The walk will last approximately two hours.  Those wishing to visit the information hub at the church may wish to arrive half an hour before the start of the walk to view the displays.
