Battle of Boroughbridge 1322

Sunday 26th July 2015

Louise Whittaker from the Battlefields Trust Yorkshire Region will be leading a 2 mile (approx) walk across the 1322 battle that saw forces loyal to Edward II clash with the rebel army of his cousin Thomas of Lancaster.

 

Meet by the statue in Hall Square Boroughbridge, (postcode YO51 9AN), adjacent to the car park, at 10:30am on Sunday 26th July 2015. Please notify the organiser in advance if you wish to attend.

 

The walk is open to non-members of the Trust, through they will be asked to make a donation of £5 to support its charitable activities.  Battlefields Trust members will not be asked for a donation, but should bring their membership cards with them.
