Battlefield Guide Training Course

City Lit is offering a two day course on Battlefield Guiding as part of their 2013 Summer School. (Saturday 6th and 13th July 2013). This course is aimed at providing basic training in the knowledge and skills validated by the Guild of Battlefields Guides and provide students with an opportunity to develop a personal learning programme towards the GBG Badge.
This course will provide an opportunity for Trust members who lead walks on British battlefields to obtain training in the practical skills of battlefield guiding.
Frank Baldwin is the course tutor, and will be drawing on his experience as a commercial guide and a past officer of the GBG as well as experience of the Trust's walks.
