Battle of Stamford Bridge 1066
From Sunday 5th May 2013
A chance to explore the Battlefield of Stamford Bridge with the Battle of Stamford Bridge Society. The walks take pace every two weeks, starting on Sunday 5th May. Walks, which last 1-2 hours are tailored on the day to suit the weather conditions and the people who turn up. The walks are free although donations for Society funds are welcome.
Meet: 11.00am at the Battle Memorial near the Cornmill, Stamford Bridge
